Members : Members are those people who enroll to avail the services of the Library by paying Membership feeas per Membership Plans.
Products : These are the Items that are offered by the Library for use by members on a returnable basis. These include Toys, Books, CD's & any other item added by the Library from time to time.
Issue / Transaction : When a member borrows one or more product then such transaction is called an issue / transaction.
All people willing to enroll as a member of the Library have to pay a onetimeRegistration fee as mentioned in Membership Plan.
Membership Fee / Rent
Members have to pay a periodical Membership fee (Rental Charges) to use the services of the Library as per Membership Plan. On payment of the Membership fee, Members are entitled to borrow Products for use. The member has to return the borrowed Items to the Library in good condition as per period mentioned in Plan.
The membership validity period depends upon the date of enrollment of the member & the subscription plan chosen by the member. For example if a member chooses a 3 months Subscription plan then the validity period of the membership will be 3 months from the date of enrollment. Members can keep extending the validity period by paying the subscription for the subsequent period. The Library will extend the validity period at the terms & fees applicable on the date of extension.
Members have to pay a security deposit to the Library based on the Membership plan chosen by them. This deposit will be refunded back to the member if the membership is terminated by the member or by the Library. At the time of refund the Library will deduct from the deposit any pending subscription charges, any pending rental charges , any pending cost to be recovered from the member with respect to missing parts, lost Items, damaged parts & damaged Items.
The Library has the right to change/modify/revise Membership plans at any time without any prior notice.
We are preserving all toys, items mostly in Original Boxes, Plastic Boxes, Polythene Bags, Covers etc. Members are requested to retain the same & return in proper order.
Members can request a temporary break period in the validity period of the membership. This facility is being extended to members in case they are unable to use the services of the Library due to personal reasons. Members can suspend their membership for a minimum period of 15 days & a maximum period of 60 days. In such a case the member has to return to the Library all Items that are in his/her possession in good condition. The member cannot borrow anything in this break period. In case any member avails this service then the validity period of the membership gets extended by the number of days of the break. Extension of break beyond 60 days is solely at the discretion of Library. If not allowed by Library or not informed/requested by the member, Membership fee will be charged for such a period.
In case Members willing to take a break for some reasons (moving out of station, vacation etc), they must call & return the items to the Library. They can rejoin the library and continue borrowing items. The break period will be treated as non-fee period.Members who wish to take a break, have to return all the items and inform us on below contact number, regarding period of break they wish to take, or else the fees will continued to be charged for the period.
Members can keep any product for a maximum of 21 days from the date of issue. At the end of this period the member has to compulsorily return the product in intact condition to the Library. Failure to do so may result in termination of membership by the Library & Library reserves the right to forfeit the refundable deposit amount and any other advance fees paid by the member.
The maximum number of Items that a member can keep at one time is determined by the subscription plan chosen by the member. (Refer Membership Plans).
The Library has the right to refuse service & the right to refuse membership to anyone without assigning any reason whatsoever.
The Library is not liable for any injury, harm (bodily or otherwise), damage arising to anyone as a consequence of use of its Products.
Subscription Fee & Registration Fee once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Members cannot claim any compensation of any form from the Library in case of delay in home delivery/home pickup by the Library of any item. Members cannot claim any compensation of any form from the Library in case of non-availability of any product.
All Items that are borrowed by members continue to remain the property of the Library. The Library does not sell or transfer the ownership of any product to any member.
When any product(s) is returned by a member, the Library will check each product to ensure that there is no missing part& that the product is intact. If the Library finds the product to be in satisfactory condition then the Library will acknowledge the same while taking back the product. The decision on whether a product that is being returned by the member is in good condition lies solely with the Library. In case there are any missing parts or any damage to the product the member will have to bear the cost of the same as follows as mentioned below:
Loss & Damage policy
Damages are rare because we have toys from the best brands.We have a flexible & easy loss and damage policy.
If you lose a part(s) then we give you 14 days' time to find it. In case you cannot find it then we charge you the cost of replacement of the part. In case the part is not available in the market we will charge you the "depreciated cost" of the item. This can range between 20% to 50% less than the MRP of that item.
If you damage an item then we will make efforts to repair it & charge only the actual cost of repair to you. In case the item cannot be repaired then we will charge you the "depreciated cost" of the item. This can range between 20% to 50% less than the MRP of that item.
